Three Candied Apples

  • 4 oz apple cider
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz Kirkland Signature 3-Year-Old Blended Scotch Whisky
  • 1 dash vanilla extract
  • 4 dashes aromatic or orange bitters
  • 1 dash of cinnamon powder
  • 1 slice fresh or dried lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick or star anise
 

Heat the apple cider and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium-low heat; do not boil. Add the whisky and vanilla extract. Stir for a few seconds. Remove from heat and pour into a mug. To finish, add the bitters and sprinkle with cinnamon. Garnish with lemon slice and cinnamon stick or star anise. Makes 1 serving.
