CA Social Compliance

Costco commissions social compliance audits by an independent auditing company to evaluate whether our operations are in compliance with California and federal labor laws. The auditing company is not a government agency and is not authorized to verify compliance with state and federal labor laws or other health and safety regulations. Below are summaries of the findings of the most recent social compliance audit for each Costco California facility that has undertaken such an audit. As it relates to the use of child employees, Costco’s standards for our suppliers and our operations can be found in our Supplier Code of Conduct.
