Convenient salmon, tuna or chicken from a can makes a nutritious meal

Canned meats made a comeback when pandemic grocery shoppers were reminded of the benefits of having convenient proteins in the kitchen pantry. Whether you prefer Kirkland Signature™ canned chicken breast, pink salmon or albacore tuna, all three are low in fat and each is a nutritious ingredient in a variety of recipes.
Packed in water, Kirkland Signature Chicken Breast (Item 51070) is extra lean, with 13 grams of protein in each 2-ounce serving. On the Costco Finds Facebook group, members shared more than 4,000 suggestions for how to use it, including pizza, potpies, Buffalo chicken dip, air-fryer nuggets and a variety of Mexican dishes.
Boneless and skinless Kirkland Signature Pink Salmon (Item 890181) is kosher and wild caught in Alaska. Each 1⁄3-cup serving contains 520 milligrams of omega-3 fatty acids and 17 grams of protein.
Kirkland Signature Albacore Solid White Tuna (Item 912291; 1492456) is kosher and preserved in water. Each 5.4-ounce serving contains 42 grams of protein. Try it in a tuna melt, salade niçoise or the Tuna Pasta Salad recipe below.
