A healing voice

Calgary-based singer-songwriter Kristen Scott lost her husband, Ira, to suicide on May 27, 2018.

She’s used music to help her along her journey of healing.

Scott, who is also an award-winning music teacher, released a video for her single “I Feel Nothing, Nothing at All,” (tinyurl.com/yfynyt3s) in 2022 as a means of catharsis and in hopes of raising awareness of suicide prevention. September marks National Suicide Prevention Month, with World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10. (For more information, visit afsp.org.)
