The timely article in your December issue, “Cheese, please,” elevated my holiday entertaining. I built the charcuterie boards [above] with ingredients from Costco. Guests were impressed and enjoyed them greatly. It required the least effort for the best results since I didn’t have to travel all around the town hunting for the ingredients.

Global sustainability
Thanks for leading the corporate effort on the U.N. sustainability goals [“A global approach,” January 2022]. These goals give mankind and the planet a future if we work together to reach them.

I loved seeing this article about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] and learning that Costco has incorporated seven of the goals into [its] own sustainability commitments. As a person who has spent more than 40 years working in the international development arena, this makes me happier than ever to be a Costco member. Achieving the SDGs will be vital to the future of our planet and all of its people. Thanks for being a part of the solution!

Family focus in January issue
Just want to say I found your article “Family fun time” by Sarah Madewell [January 2022] very interesting and instructional for me as a grandfather with grandkids ages 3 and 5 years. It was especially helpful how you broke it down by age and corresponding activity.

Tuxedo junction
We bought Costco’s Kirkland Signature™ Tuxedo Chocolate Mousse Cake for our family Christmas Eve dinner, and wow—the taste was spectacular! My boyfriend’s daughter raved about it, and stated that it was the best cake she had ever tasted, the only cake she ever wanted again, and she wanted to know if Costco made wedding cakes! In the future, if I ever volunteer to bring dessert, I know what it will be.
