Applying Online
New locations under construction
You can apply online to new locations under construction approximately 12 weeks prior to opening. If a location is not listed when you search using a nearby ZIP code, it is not yet accepting applications. We appreciate your interest and patience.
Can’t find a location?
Some Costco businesses do not hire using our online platform. If your desired location is open for business but does not appear when you search using a nearby ZIP code, inquire within to apply.
How to Stand Out
Introduce yourself
Each warehouse receives hundreds of applications. After applying online, stand out by introducing yourself to the hiring manager at your desired location.
Apply often
Our locations hire throughout the year, not only during seasonal periods. Online applications expire after 90 days, so if you don’t hear from your desired location within 90 days, submit another online application to stay visible in the applicant pool.
Resources for Veterans
Application process for veterans:
Costco values the contributions you have made and the experiences you have gained in service to our country. Your experience, coupled with our fast-paced environment, could lead to an exciting career. If you are a veteran interested in a part-time, entry-level position in warehouse operations, we are committed to providing an interview spot toward the front of the line.
If this sounds like a good fit, apply online to your desired location(s) and email your regional representative (listed below).
If you have specialized skills in IT, visit the Costco IT Jobs website for available positions and directions for applying.
Things to consider:
- You should generally be prepared to work during our busy hours, typically nights and weekends. Merchandising stocking takes place in the early morning hours.
- Most candidates are hired for part-time, entry-level jobs such as front-end assistant, food court, member service, and merchandise stocking.
- Costco selects the best-qualified candidates based on transferable skills, prior experience, and member service skills.
- You may be required to demonstrate skills or pass a business-related test for some positions.
