A
- Apples: A fruit source of vitamins and fiber.
- Ascorbic Acid: Another name for vitamin C. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and is not considered essential for dogs and cats because they make their own.
- Bacillus subtilis: dried fermentation product of: same definition as Bifidobacterium animalis.
- Blueberries: Blueberries are an excellent source of fiber, antioxidants and vitamins.
- Bifidobacterium animalis, dried fermentation product of: Probiotics, "good" bacteria that are normal inhabitants of the digestive system. Support a healthy digestive system, which is critical for overall good health.
- Barley, cracked pearled: Whole grain. Has 50% more protein than rice. Slow burning carbohydrate source.
- Beet pulp, dried: Dried remains of sugar beets after sugar is removed. Gray in color. Moderately fermentable fiber source to provide cells in colon with energy and to promote the good bacteria in the intestines. Considered to be one of the best fiber sources for optimal stool quality.
- Biotin: B vitamin required for metabolism of fats, carbohydrates, proteins, fatty acids and non-essential amino acids. Water soluble vitamin. Required for normal skin and hair coat.
- Beef meal: A dry protein source made up of beef meat and bone, ground together and cooked. It is a quality protein source as well as a source of vitamins and minerals.
- Calcium pantothenate: A B vitamin that is necessary for normal intestinal function, growth and hair coat color.
- Canola oil: A rich source of omega fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid. Also provides natural vitamin E.
- Chicory root, dried: Source of prebiotic fiber. Prebiotics support health in the digestive system. Optimal digestive health is critical for overall good health.
- Choline chloride: A B vitamin. Required for normal function of the nervous system, normal growth in young dogs and normal kidney function.
- Chondroitin Sulfate: A substance found in the body, this is a building block for normal healthy cartilage. It also helps block harmful enzymes from damaging the cartilage.
- Copper proteinate: Chelated form of copper. Copper is a critical mineral for maintaining coat color and normal reproductive function.
- Copper sulfate: Additional source of dietary copper.
- Chicken: Muscle tissue from chickens. Highly digestible, low ash source of protein.
- Chicken meal: Made from chicken muscle and bone. We use a specially processed, low ash meal. Protein, phosphorus and calcium come from the meal.
- Chicken fat: A highly digestible fat or energy source. Rich in omega-6 fatty acids.
- Carrots: Carrots are rich in vitamins and antioxidants.
- Cranberries: Cranberries provide vitamins and minerals.

- DL-methionine: An essential amino acid which contains sulfur. Important for both dogs and cats, but more critical in cats since they have an increased demand for this amino acid. This is also a urine acidifier.
- Dried kelp: Seaweed that is added as a source of fiber and iodine.
- Dried yeast: Non-fermentable yeast that provides B-complex vitamins and proteins. Flavor enhancer.

- Egg product, dried: Cooked and dried whole eggs. A high quality, highly digestible source of protein.
- Enterococcus faecium: dried fermentation product of: Probiotics, "good" bacteria that are normal inhabitants of the digestive system. Support a healthy digestive system, which is critical for overall good health.

- Fava Beans: These legumes are also known as broad beans. Like other legumes, they are excellent sources of not only carbohydrates, but also protein and fiber.
- Ferrous sulfate: Additional source of iron. Iron is critical for healthy red blood cells and oxygen transport throughout the body.
- Flaxseed: A plant source of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3's are important for a healthy skin and coat as well as overall good health and a strong immune system.
- Folic acid: A B vitamin that is especially important in fetal development.
- Fish meal: Whole Menhaden fish, cooked and ground to a meal. Good source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
- Ground White Rice: Ground rice is white rice that is received as a ground ingredient, instead of whole. Rice is a highly digestible carbohydrate ingredient that supplies energy for active pets.
- Glucosamine hydrochloride: A building block for normal healthy joints.
- Garbanzo beans: Garbanzo beans, or chickpeas, are a legume. They are high in protein and have a low glycemic index.

- Iron proteinate: The chelated form of iron. Iron is critical for the formation of healthy red blood cells and the movement of oxygen throughout the body.

- Lactobacillus acidophilus, dried fermentation product of: Probiotics, "good" bacteria that are normal inhabitants of the digestive system. Support a healthy digestive system, which is critical for overall good health.
- Lactobacillus plantarum: dried fermentation product of: definition for Lactobacillus acidophilus can be used.
- Lamb: Lamb that is mechanically removed from the bone. Enhances palatability, low ash.
- Lamb meal: Lean carcass of lambs (muscle and bone), cooked and ground to a fine consistency. A quality protein source.
- L-Carnitine: A vitamin-like nutrient that helps maintain normal metabolism. Helps the body burn fat for energy and maintain lean muscle mass.
- Lentils: A legume that is new to pet food formulations. Legumes contain protein, fiber and carbohydrates and are nutritious ingredients for pet foods.

- Manganese proteinate: Chelated form of manganese. Manganese is important for proper bone formation, growth and normal reproduction.
- Manganese sulfate: An additional source of the critical trace mineral, manganese.
- Manganous oxide: An additional source of the critical trace mineral, manganese.
- Millet: A whole grain. Higher in protein than corn, rich in amino acids (lysine, methionine, and threonine). Low in tannins, which limit palatability and inhibit protein digestion.

- Natural flavor: Ingredient that is added to enhance the flavor and acceptance. Can be from vegetable or chicken sources. (It does not contain MSG.)
- Niacin: Vitamin B3, a water soluble vitamin that is responsible for maintaining the balance of important electrolytes, protecting the digestive system and helping maintain energy levels by controlling metabolism.

- Oatmeal: Whole grain that is an excellent source of slow burning carbohydrates for all day energy and fiber for proper digestion.
- Ocean fish meal: Made from ocean whitefish. Rich in amino acids and omega-3 fatty acids.
- Organic flaxseed: Organically grown flaxseed, source of omega-3 fatty acids.
- Organic canola oil: Source of fatty acids and energy. Meets organic standards, including non-GMO.
- Organic chicken: Protein source from organically raised chickens.
- Organic garbanzo beans: Organically raised legume. Source of protein, fiber and carbohydrates.
- Organic lentils: Organically raised legume. Source of protein, fiber and carbohydrates.
- Organic peas: Organically raised legume. Source of protein, fiber and carbohydrates.
- Organic pea protein: Organically raised peas undergo a special processing technique to separate the protein from the starch and fiber to create a digestible, low ash protein source with the added benefit of phytonutrients.
- Organic potatoes: Organically raised. Source of carbohydrates and vitamins.
- Organic sweet potatoes: Organically raised. Source of carbohydrates and plant based nutrients.
- Organic sunflower meal: Made from organically raised sunflowers, source of protein and fiber.
- Peas: Provide protein, fiber and carbohydrates to the diet. Rich in vitamins and plant based nutrients.
- Pea Flour: Whole peas that have been ground into a flour consistency. Excellent source of protein and carbohydrates.
- Pea Protein: Peas are highly nutritious legumes that are made up of protein, starch and fiber in addition to vitamins and minerals. A special processing technique is used to separate the protein from the starch and fiber to create a digestible, low ash protein source with the added benefit of phytonutrients.
- Potassium iodide: Potassium is critical for the maintenance of the proper amount of fluid inside and outside of the cells.
- Potatoes: A highly digestible carbohydrate source. Provides energy and vitamins and minerals to the diet.
- Potato fiber: A quality source of soluble and insoluble fiber to support digestive health and optimal stool quality.
- Potato protein: Purified protein made from potatoes. Highly digestible protein and a rich source of amino acids.
- Potassium iodide: Potassium salt that is required for body fluid maintenance, nerve conduction (including normal heart rhythm) and certain metabolic processes. Potassium is the main electrolyte in intracellular fluid.
- Powdered Cellulose: A plant fiber source. This ingredient is highly refined, a white powder that provides insoluble fiber to the diet. The purpose of insoluble fiber is to lower calories or help control hairballs in cats.
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride: Vitamin B6. Important for the formation of red blood cells.
- Potassium chloride: Potassium salt of hydrochloric acid and is required for body fluid maintenance, nerve conduction (including normal heart rhythm), and certain metabolic processes. Potassium is the main electrolyte in intracellular fluid.
- Parsley flake: A dried herb. Flavor enhancer.

- Sodium selenite: Supplies selenium, a trace mineral that acts as a powerful antioxidant, especially in combination with Vitamin E.
- Sweet potatoes: A tuber vegetable packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
- Salmon oil: This oil is extracted from salmon. Marine source oils are rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as EPA and DHA.
