For Dogs: Credelio kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and treatment and control of tick infestations (lone star tick, American dog tick, black-legged tick and brown dog tick) for one month in dogs and puppies 8 weeks and older and 4.4 pounds or greater.
For Cats: Credelio CAT kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations for one month in cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older and weighing 2 pounds or greater. It is also indicated for the treatment and control of black-legged tick infestations for one month in cats and kittens 6 months of age and older and weighing 2 pounds or greater.

Credelio™ Important Safety Information
Lotilaner is a member of the isoxazoline class of drugs. This class has been
associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, incoordination
and seizures. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving this class of drugs,
even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use with caution in dogs with a
history of seizures or neurologic disorders. The safe use of Credelio in
breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. The most frequently
reported adverse reactions are weight loss, elevated blood urea nitrogen,
increased urination and diarrhea. For complete safety information, please see

Credelio™ CAT Indications
Credelio CAT kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention
of flea infestations for one month in cats and kittens 8 weeks of age and older
and weighing 2 pounds or greater.
Credelio CAT is also indicated for treatment and control of black-legged tick
infestations for one month in cats and kittens 6 months of age and older and
weighing 2 pounds or greater.

Lotilaner is a member of the isoxazoline class of drugs. This class has been
associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, incoordination
and seizures. Neurologic adverse reactions have been reported in cats receiving
isoxazoline class drugs, even in cats without a history of neurologic disorders.
Use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders. The safety of
Credelio CAT has not been established in breeding, pregnant and lactating cats.
The effectiveness of Credelio CAT against black-legged ticks in kittens less
than 6 months of age has not been evaluated. The most frequently reported
adverse reactions are weight loss, rapid breathing and vomiting. For complete

Frequently Asked Questions
Credelio has a rapid onset of action and begins to kill fleas on dogs in just 4 hours. In cats, Credelio CAT begins killing fleas in just 6 hours. In a well‑controlled laboratory study, Credelio demonstrated 100% effectiveness against adult fleas within 12 hours (24 hours for cats) after administration or infestation and lasted for up to 35 days.
Credelio starts to kill ticks (Ixodes ricinus) within 4 hours of administration, with 98.7% of ticks killed within 8 hours.2
Not at all. Credelio and Credelio CAT kill adult fleas quickly and
effectively when used monthly according to label directions.
If there are fleas in your pet’s environment, it can take up to 6 weeks
for flea larvae to emerge and grow into adults. Credelio and Credelio CAT
kill adult fleas before they can lay eggs. If you see fleas on your pet,
they are most likely new adult fleas that will die very quickly.
All animals in the household should be treated with an approved flea product
to minimize the likelihood of flea re-infestation. It may also be necessary
to apply an approved flea treatment product to your carpet and furniture to
remove the presence of fleas in your dog’s or cat’s environment.
Maintain consistent monthly administration of Credelio or Credelio CAT to
provide continual flea protection in your pet.
For dogs, the small and tasty beef-flavored monthly chewable tablet was
accepted and tolerated by the 70 different dog breeds that were tested,
including Chihuahuas and Yorkshire Terriers.3
In a field trial, the acceptability of Credelio was tested at 10 different
locations across the U.S., and 94% of dogs accepted Credelio from the hand,
in the bowl or with food.3 The remaining 6% accepted Credelio when placed in
the mouth. There were no reports of unsuccessful dosing.
In cats, the chewable tablet was designed to be small and easy to give, with
a flavor and smell that cats find appealing.
In real-world testing, cat owners successfully administered 99.5% of tablets
to their cats. 46.9% of cats ate Credelio CAT on their own when offered by
hand, placed in an empty food bowl or with food. 52.6% of cats successfully
took the pill when placed in the mouth.
