With a hue of dark ruby, this aromatic blend gets roundness and generosity from Merlot, and structured, firm tannins from the Cabs. Blackberry and blackcurrant, accented with cedar and baking spice, dominate the fresh, persistent finish. A great value for weeknight supper, match with fennel sausage pizza, or, surprisingly, to fried chicken.
